Aroma is a tiny new restaurant decorated in clean white & grey with bright orchids (basically what I wish my own dining room looked like, if I had one). We went for my birthday early in March, and it was the perfect start to an unforgettable night!
We admittedly went all out – you know when they add another table onto your table for two that you ordered a lot of food…
We’re always on the lookout for good seafood spots in Florence, and this place definitely stole a spot near the top of the list! The tuna tartare (middle picture, bottom right) came recommended by the waitress and we were not disappointed! I got a bit caught up in the moment and forgot to photograph our main courses (yes, the middle picture is just the “appetizer”), but the homemade pasta was amazing as well.
I can never resist a chocolate lava cake and this one seated in a little pond of white chocolate was the best one I’d had in a long time. It was the perfect finish to the decadent meal, along with some vin santo and caffè. I recommend Aroma for an indulgent date night, especially if you’re a seafood lover we are!
