Sushi in Florence: Wabi Sabi

The past few weeks we’ve been eating pretty regularly at one of our favorite spots for Sushi in Florence, Wabi Sabi. We had been here before a while ago and really enjoyed everything about it. It has a romantic minimalist atmosphere, fast and friendly service, and a great selection of quality Japanese food, which isn’t the easiest thing to find in Florence. The only downside was that it was quite pricey, so you had to watch what you ordered and I found it a bit stressful and unsatisfying since I couldn’t try many things on the menu.

We’ve started going again because we found out about their new all you can eat offer! It might seem pricey at €35, but believe me when I say its worth it, especially if you love Sushi as much as I do! Other all you can eat deals Japanese offers around Florence have a limited seperate menu, but at Wabi Sabi you can order from the entire menu (beverages and desserts excluded). Personally I can eat a lot of sushi and sashimi, so €35 isn’t bad when the most expensive Sashimi plate (pictured below, bottom left) is €25, and you can order two of them if you want. I definitely recommend Wabi Sabi for anyone that needs a break from Pasta and enjoys Japanese Food!

I just found your blog and I’m so glad I did! I live in Prato with my boyfriend, have been to Monkey Bar (addicted to darts), and love finding other Americans in the area! Have you ever been to Aji Tei for sushi? They have the all you can eat menu (with a choice from the entire regular menu) for only €25 and it’s got a great ambiance.

Hi Kait! I’ve never been to Aji Tei, but now I’ll have to try it! We’ll have to meet up for a drink at Monkey someday soon :)
