Grand Canyon

Travel Tuesday: Travel Wishlist

Hello there! It’s Jillian from Cornflake Dreams, a life and style blog about all the dreamy things in the city and travels abroad. my fiance and i recently returned from a trip to istanbul turkey. we had a GREAT time! i would definitely recommend the city to anyone — it’s travel friendly, affordable, almost everything is in english and the locals are very welcoming. we are coming up on another big trip– our honeymoon! we’ll be visiting my favorite city– paris! (and stopping by prague for two days before we return home). it’s my fiance’s first time to Paris so i cannot wait to see what he thinks of the city. international travel aside, i would hate to ignore my ever-growing US travel wishlist. there are quite a few US cities and sites that i’d like to visit::

san franciso, california

1. New York, NY – (i’ve been once, but my visit was very brief and i didn’t get a chance to explore places like the MET and Central Park).
2. Seattle, WA – we got engaged in Portland, OR and i love that city, so i have no doubt i will love it’s big brother!
3. San Franscio, CA – i have visions of hilly streets, street cars, china town, and gorgeous architecture. take me there…
4. the Grand Canyon – I realize this isn’t a city, but it’s still a pretty big deal, and i’d like to see it in person!

what destinations are on your travel wishlist?!
thank you to krista for inviting me to guest post on her blog! stop by cornflake dreams anytime for a daily dose of inspiration.

I was only thinking this morning about how I’ve been to about the same number of countries as US states and I really need to change that! I’ve never been to San Fran, or Vegas, or the Grand Canyon and I really want to see them, and Montana, and Seattle, and Portland! There are just too many fantastic places back in the US to see! :)

I know what you mean Sara! Even the list of all the places in my home state of California that I never got a chance to see is pretty long. Traveling doesnt happen on accident, you have to make it happen, and I have to start making it happy more often!
